About BTAP

Ballyfermot Traveller Action Project (BTAP) was founded in 2002 and is a community development project with a strong history of advocacy for the Traveller community living in the Ballyfermot area.

Our vision is for the traveller community to experience equality and their social, political, economic, cultural and human rights are realised across the island of Ireland.

”Ballyfermot Travellers Action Project seek to empower Travellers through innovative community development work, which acts as a catalyst for social change, to collectively participate in redressing the challenges and issues that affect Travellers in order to improve the quality of their lives as a nomadic ethnic group”
